• LEGISLATION

  DLOAC monitors federal and state legislation which affects the dental industry. We present that information to our members in our newsletter, on our website, at DLOAC Component and Expo meetings, and in our magazine.

  DLOAC provides countless opportunities for continuing education. Attend a business and management seminar to increase professional development. Technical seminars and lectures are available at ongoing local component meetings and the annual CAD/CAM Expo with member discounts. Our newsletter and magazine provide timely information and reminders to save members money and improve business operations.

  DLOAC maintains dialogue with, and represents the interests of, our members to the California Dental Association (CDA), the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) and the Dental Board of California.

DLOAC CAD/CAM Symposium

Held in the fall, our annual CAD/CAM Expo has grown from a futuristic-seeming dream fest into one of the premier tech-focused dental events. Now in its 14th year, the Expo attracts an international audience, global participation from manufacturers, and top-notch presenters.

Member Exclusive Community

Popular at our component community meetings is the roundtable discussion where lab owners open up about their challenges, share seasoned wisdom, and create a sense of community that is carried back to their labs. Often, new acquaintances develop into important and long-lasting friendships as lab owners serve as “sounding boards” for each other. We have a growing online community dedicated to developing member skills by sharing tips, tricks and wit.
